If you somewhat feel that the world getting is crowded, it is.  And the worst part about having a high population growth rate is we only have limited resources, especially our land resources.  Thinking about it, not all of the world’s land is fit for living, examples are deserts and tundra that are almost impossible to live in. Too hot and too cold land areas prevent vegetation from growing, and the rest of the land that’s fit for living has already millions of inhabitants.

With such a growing population, and limited land resources, how can the world provide adequate food for all of its inhabitants? Well, it can’t. What needs to be done is to come up with a creative and innovative idea to maximize the available land resource we have, and that is through Urban Farming.  With Urban Farming, cities are now able to produce their own food supply! And they don’t need to tear any building down for it, they can use their rooftops and abandoned parking lots as a small farming area! Thanks to Urban Farming, cities are now able to contribute to food security and safety, and not only depend on agricultural areas.
